surveys for chronic painers and their partners

Hi folks,

I am interested in learning more and writing about the challenges that chronic pain poses in intimate relationships. To start the process, I’ve created two short anonymous surveys.

The first is for people living with chronic pain:

The second is for people who are in an intimate relationship with someone who deals with chronic pain (lover, co-parent, roommate, best friend, spouse, etc.):

If one these labels applies to you, please take some time to fill out the survey. You can respond with as much or as little text as you see fit.

  2. Thanks for filling out the survey! If you haven’t yet, please do. Reading your responses has reinforced my notion that the challenges posed by chronic pain in intimate relationships can be a pretty big deal, and that folks (myself included) need better access to information and support. Keep spreading the survey links please.

This might have to turn into a bigger project than just one article…

  3. I know you made this survey more than a year ago, but I only just discovered your blog recently! Sorry to know that you deal with chonic pain on a regular basis… It’s no good – I hear ya.
    Thinking of you,
    “The other St Pat’s AE”
